A Maths teacher and Dyscalculia trainer.

My passion for numbers and kids is the reason I started HAPPY COUNTING, which is aimed to offer support and help kids with their struggles in counting, understanding numbers and grasping mathematical concepts.

My background

In 2004, I began my career by pursuing a Mathematics teaching degree. Ever since then, my passion for teaching this subject has been unwavering. However, my daily classroom experiences exposed the fact that not everyone finds Maths easy to grasp.

This realization motivated me to offer after-school tutoring sessions where I could help students regain their confidence with numbers and instil self-belief in them. As I gained more experience, I encountered students who had a unique perspective on numbers, leading me to pursue a Diploma in Dyscalculia - a topic that is not widely known or discussed.

My biggest strength is my ability to connect with kids on a personal level and support them in maintaining motivation even when faced with challenges.
